Tom Payne Masonry, Inc. (formerly TP Masonry, Inc.) was founded on the 30 years of masonry expertise of Thomas L. Payne, President and head mason. Thomas started to lay the foundation of his skills in 1972, working as an apprentice mason for Clarence Griffin Masonry, a nationwide residential/commercial construction company. In 1977, he settled down in Portland, Oregon with his young family and worked as a journeyman mason for Ken Parker Masonry.

After five years of skill honing Tom and his family moved to Southern California and started TP Masonry, a small masonry company which he ran successfully for over 6 years. In 1990 Tom decided to return to Portland where he worked for George Rice Masonry for two years before returning to work for Ken Parker Masonry.

In 1997 Tom decided it was time to branch out on his own again and TP Masonry was established in the Portland, Oregon area.  In 2000 TP Masonry became Incorporated, and in 2003 renamed Tom Payne Masonry, Inc. and expanded to the World Wide Web due to the efforts of the newly appointed VP of Operations and Webmaster, daughter, Jennifer Payne. Tom Payne Masonry, Inc. is founded on the belief that our work will speak for itself.
